Fresh Pear Coffee Cake- Part 1
3/4 Cup sugar
Heat oven to 350 degrees. With nonstick cooking spray, spray rectangular pan, 13 X 9 X 2 inches. Beat sugar, margarine, vanilla and egg whites in large bowl on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cardamom and salt; beat into sugar mixture alternately with sour cream on low speed. Fold in pears. Spread batter in pan. Sprinkle with Streusel. Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean; cool. Drizzle with Glaze. 15 SERVINGS.
